However, if you were a regular reader of mine u would probably notice that I didn’t had a favincon before 
…I made one few days ago and I really like it!
So why should you have a favicon?
Firstly,it looks good. Though it doesn’t have any kind of seo importance (as far as I know…) it’s a nice thing to have. It’s like making your hair so u look better. It’s not that important for the person who loves you but it makes you feel better.
In my opinion the most important point of the favincon is that you will be recognized. When people see your favicon on their bookmarks they will know that it is your website.
This reasons…and many more which I don’t remember made me make a favicon for my self 
.
So how you do it?
Firstly you have to create yourself a favicon.
I created mine using this website.
Or you can create your favicon using any image editor you like and convert it into the favicon format on this website http://favikon.com/ . You should save it with the name “favicon.ico”
After that you to upload the file u generated into your wordpress root directory.
Then go to directry of the theme u use and open header.php. Put the line <link rel=”shortcut icon” href=”favicon.ico” /> and save the file.
After I refreshed my blog my favicon didn’t show up at first but after few hours it was loading
